Be Extraordinary

Make A Difference In Your Community Today

Be Extraordinary is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and similar special needs by providing them with opportunities to learn and apply life and vocational skills in a nurturing environment. Our approach fosters independence as participants engage in meaningful work tasks tailored to their individualized goals and potential.

Our mission is to cultivate an environment that promotes self-advocacy, independence, and a sense of accomplishment. We aspire to lead the way in creating community and workforce opportunities where individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities can thrive, find fulfilling work, and become active, productive members of society.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for individuals with special needs exceeds 80%, with limited job opportunities available after the age of 22. Many families express concern over the scarcity of employment options for individuals with disabilities post-high school. At Be Extraordinary, we focus on developing the skills necessary for young adults to achieve success and independence in their careers and lives.
